No Cover Media. is an entertainment media, marketing and events company that provides the best source for local music, events and nightlife while producing tv programming, local publications, events, promotions and festivals for their clients. We have been online and publishing a print publication since 1997 and is known widely across the world as we have been distributed on the newsstands in United States, UK, Ireland and Japan.
No Cover Magazine is a music, nightlife, culture and event publication that launched in May 1997 and has focused on new and upcoming bands along with highlighting upcoming events at bars and nightclubs. The publication started off free and focused on original music (hence the name No Cover) and was responsible for giving some of music’s best upcoming talent their first-ever magazine cover. Artists like Big Bad Voodoo Daddy (May 1997), Ziggy Marley (August 1997), Ben Harper (Sept. 1997), The Crystal Method (Dec. 1997), Daft Punk (January 1998) Blink 182 (March 1998), Eve6 (April 1998), Reel Big Fish (November 1998), Linkin Park (Oct. 2000), Alien Ant Farm (March 2001),and later became a worldwide newsstand publication gave bands their first magazine cover like Pepper (March 2004) and many more!
No Cover Espanol was started in June 2001 focusing on upcoming Latin artists from all over the world. Offering first US covers to bands like Café Tacvba, Molotov and Mano Chau to name a few.
We have been media partners with major music festival producers Synergy Global Entertainment – UPROAR Music Festival and Reggae in the Hills. No Cover was also selected to be the “Official” JagerMusic Tour Magazine in 2000 publishing over 100,000 magazine and distributed to over 42 tour stops in 2003 with the band Slayer headlining.
Along with working with top event producers. No Cover, Inc. has produced our own major festival and events such as California Music Fest, The Core Pour. www.thecorepour.com and Country Bar Crawl www.countrybarcrawl.com along with industry parties at SXSW, ASR and Las Vegas Eat’m Conference . We have worked with major companies to help promote their brands and create awareness to their products either through advertising , promotions and/or events targeted to our core 18-34 year old audience. Some of the companies that have worked with No Cover include – Sony, Warner Bros, Universal, Budweiser, Heineken Beer, USA, Asahi Beer, USA, Firestone Beer, Jagermeister, American Honey Whiskey, Sailor Jerry Rum, Milagro Tequila, 4 Copas Tequila, Mandala Tequila, Pura Vida Tequila, Number Juan Tequila, Shakespeare Vodka, Rockstar Energy Drink, SoBE, AT&T, Hurley, Dragon Eyewear, Black Flys Eyewear, Anarchy Eyewear and Guitar Center.
Over the years music and book stores started to close and now No Cover publication is FREE again and continues to highlight new new music giving bands like Greta Van Fleet (April 2018) their first magazine cover. No Cover is offering licensing opportunities of the popular music and event brand to open a turn-key business operation in major markets. Currently licensing exists in Ventura, Phoenix, Jacksonville, NC, Nashville and Cleveland, OH.
