Born and raised in the heart of Akron, Chad Baker's destiny in country music was evident from a young age. Surrounded by a family that nurtured his musical talents, Baker's passion for country melodies and heartfelt lyrics was ignited in his youth. He began performing and writing songs, quickly making a name for himself in the local music scene.

At the tender age of 14, Chad was already gracing open mic nights and playing in local dive bars, landing his first "real gig" by the age of 15. Throughout high school, he and his band tirelessly played every local club that would offer them a stage, honing their skills and captivating audiences with their authentic sound.

Following graduation, armed with $400 in his pocket and an unwavering dream, Chad Baker set his sights on Nashville. His country soul led him to the heart of the music industry, where he embarked on a challenging journey of paying his dues. Days were spent working any gig he could book, while nights were dedicated to busking the corners of Lower Broadway.

In 2015, Baker and a friend embarked on a self-booked acoustic tour to California, marking the inception of the "Wild West Acoustic Tour" in 2016. With meticulous planning, Chad performed 22 shows in less than two months, spanning 16 states west of the Mississippi.

The summer of 2019 brought a full band tour back to the western United States, comprising 15 shows, 17 days, and covering an impressive 7,000 miles. Having opened for renowned artists like Josh Thompson and Sundy Best, Chad Baker has solidified his presence on the national stage.

With five singles and a full-length studio album already under his belt, Chad is gearing up for his next musical chapter. His plans for a sophomore album and the upcoming release of a new EP in 2024 are creating anticipation among fans and industry insiders alike.
