Tom Modern is a Cleveland native looking to perform and rock out. . His main instruments are synthesizers as he sings original songs with familiar stops along the way with cover songs. He performs solo, duo or trio depending on availabilities. Tom headlined for many years in New York before returning to Cleveland in 2020. Tom began music at the age of 6. His first cassette single was played on college radio in 1988. Around 2012. Tom founded the progressive rock group Arcta which headlined Manhattan's Metropolitan Room. He has performed at other noteworthy venues such as CBGBs, Pianos and The Mercury Lounge. Tom had a #1 Song for the week of 4-19-2017 on Songladder.com with the track "Because Why." In New York, Tom developed the concept show Cleveland Night in NYC, performing it between 2018 and 2019 before Covid hit. In Cleveland, Tom has performed at Brother's Lounge, Stella's, Chagrin Valley Theatre and The Vortex. Recently, Tom's cover of the song "I Want To Be With You Tonight" by Lipstick was featured on Coast To Coast AM with George Noori on "Emerging Artists" (2-5-2023).
